Künstlerischer Werdegang
Eleonora Karpukhova, geboren in Kasan (Russland), studierte am staatl. Moskauer Tschaikowsky-Konservatorium bei
Valery Kastelsky Klavier und absolvierte im Jahr 2000 mit Auszeichnung; 2003 schloss sie die Meister-klasse bei Prof.
Michail Voskressensky ab. Heute unterrichtet sie selbst an dem weltberühmten Konservatorium. Schon seit 1996 gewann
sie zahlreiche Preise bei internationalen Klavierwettbewerben und ging in Italien (Varallo Sessia), Chile (Dr. Luis Sigall)
und Portugal (Vianna da Motta) als Beste hervor. Seither ist sie in Europa sowie in Nord- und Südamerika auf vielen Podien
zu hören, auch mit Orchestern und bekannten Dirigenten wie S. Soldatov, Y. Yanko, A. Cassuto, D. del Pino Klinge, F.
Lentini, D. Nazareth, M. Zilm, D. Kolobov and A. Dumay.
Eleonora Karpukhova kommt seit 2004 fast jedes Jahr zu Klavierabenden nach München mit einem breiten Spektrum an
Programmen von Scarlatti über Liszt und Rachmaninow bis zu Zeitgenossen; sie erweitert ständig ihr Repertoire insbesondere
in Richtung Kammermusik und Liedbegleitung. 2007 nahm der Bayerische Rundfunk mit ihr die Klaviersonate von Bela Bartok
auf. Von den CD-Aufnahmen sind zu nennen Rachmaninows Études-Tableaux, dessen Suiten für zwei Klaviere, Werke von
Liszt und Bartok sowie eine CD mit den „Jahreszeiten“ und der Nussknacker-Suite in der äußerst virtuosen Bearbeitung von
M. Pletnev.

Curriculum Vitae
Eleonora Karpukhova is a Russian pianist and winner of many international piano competitions.
Eleonora studied at the Moscow Conservatory under Prof. V. Kastelsky, and graduated with honours in 2000.
She successfully combined her studies with recitals in Russia and abroad. Eleonora completed her music
education in 2003 as a probation assistant under Prof. M. Voskresensky.
Already while being a student, she won numerous international competitions including the Citta di Senigallia
International Competition in 1996.
Eleonora convincingly confirmed her professionalism in 2002 by winning the 18th Varallo Sessia International
Competition in Italy and the 29th Dr. Luis Sigall International Piano Competition in Chile.
"The final round of the music competition in Viña del Mar was a phenomenal event",
wrote the Domingo newspaper.
"An exceptional performance of Mozart's concerto No. 20 in D minor by Eleonora Karpukhova
got the audience into blissfulness and tranquillity".
Further performances also brought her winning titles.
In 2004, Eleonora won the Jose Vianna da Motta Piano Competition in Lisbon, Portugal.
Eleonora Karpukhova has performed in Russia, Ukraine, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Germany,
Austria, Chile and Portugal.

firstly musical truth and secondly a lot of emotions and self-analysis."

Her concerts in the Small and Rachmaninov halls of the Moscow Conservatoire, Salle Cortot in Paris,
Kleiner Konzertsaal im Gasteig in Munich, Teatro "Gil Vicente" in Coimbra, Fundacao Calouste Gulbenkian,
Сentro Cultural de Belem in Lisbon and halls of Kiev, Kazan, Samara, Kharkov and other cities
have got great recognition.
Eleonora has vast experience of performing with orchestras.
She played numerous concerts with Orquesta Sinfonica de Chili, Orquesta Sinfonica de Providencia,
Orquestra Fundacao Gulbenkian, Orquestra Metropolitana and Orquestra do Algarve.
Eleonora Karpukhova actively cooperates with such famous conductors as S. Soldatov, Y. Yanko, A. Cassuto,
D. del Pino Klinge, F. Lentini, D. Nazareth, M. Zilm, D. Kolobov and A. Dumay.
In 2013, Eleonora initiated and organised the Rachmaninov Fest, a Moscow music festival to mark the
140th anniversary of the composer's birth. The festival hosted five concerts featuring Rachmaninov's music
performed at different chamber music halls including the Rachmaninov Hall, with Eleonora Karpukhova
giving a recital of all Etudes-Tableaux.
Eleonora has recorded two CDs of Rachmaninov's music, for both, solo and two pianos.
The most recent CD featuring Rachmaninov's Etudes-Tableaux was issued in 2014 by Classical Records.

Eleonora Karpukhova nació en la ciudad rusa de Kazan, en 1976. Sus estudios musicales los inició a los cinco años
y en 1995 terminó parte importante de su preparación profesional en la Escuela Central de Música de Moscú.
Cabe destacar que durante todo este tiempo de crecimiento artístico, Eleonora ganó importantes concursos
juveniles. Hace tres años se graduó en el Conservatorio Tchaikovsky de Moscú, siendo alumna del maestro
Valery Kastelsky. Cuatro años antes de su graduación, en el certamen internacional de piano de Senigallia
(en Italia) le fue concedido el tercer lugar por su destacada presentación. Cabe destacar además que como
estudiante del Conservatorio de Moscú, Eleonora participó en los festivales pianísticos de Kyoto (Japón), en 1999;
y en Bergen (Holanda), el año 2000.
Portuguais
A pianista russa Eleonora Karpukhova, segunda classificada o ano passado no concurso de interpretação Vianna
da Motta, apresenta-se quarta-feira à noite no Palácio Nacional de Sintra, no âmbito do Festival de Música.
Entre os seis finalistas, o ano passado, do Concurso Vianna da Motta, o melhor classificado foi a pianista Eleonora
Karpoukhova, que ficou no segundo lugar, e que recebeu um cheque no valor de 12.000 euros, o primeiro prémio não foi
atribuído.Eleonora Karpukhova, 29 anos, iniciou a sua aprendizagem musical aos cinco anos de idade.
Em 1995 completou os seus estudos na Escola Central de Música de Moscovo, tendo obtido vários primeiros prémios
em concursos para estudantes.
Em 2003 foi a vencedora do concurso internacional Mention Dr. Luis Sigall, realizado em Viña Del Mar (Chile).
Natural de Kazan, diplomou-se em piano em 2000, pelo Conservatório Tchaikosvsky de Moscovo, onde foi aluna de
Valery Kastelsky, e prosseguiu os estudos com Mikhail Voskresensky.
Em Sintra, no Palácio da Vila, a pianista irá interpretar um programa que inclui Mozart («Sonata para piano nº 10, em
Dó Maior, K.330»), Chopin («Scherzo nº 3, em Dó sustenido menor, opus 39», e «Nocturno em Si Maior, opus 62 nº 1»),
Liszt («Aprés une l ecture de Dante - Fantasia quasi sonata») e ainda os russos Rachmaninov («Três momentos
musicais, opus 16, nºs 2, 3 e 4») e Prokofiev («Sonata para piano nº6, em Lá Maior, opus 82»).
A pianista depois de se apresentar em vários palcos do seu país iniciou há cerca de cinco anos uma carreira internacional
que a levou já a França, Alemanha, Itália, Chile e agora Portugal, depois da sua participação no Concurso Vianna da Motta.
